The 10U Softball division is designed for girls ages eight through ten. League age is determined by how old the player will be on December 31, 2017.  Among teammates of their own age and experience level, players continue building and refining their fundamental skills while they begin to understand game strategy.  10U softball is played under  the official Babe Ruth Softball rules, but implements some special rules as necessary for the development and welfare of this young age group.  The game is played on a 60-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 35 feet. An eleven inch ball is used and special base running rules are in effect.

A highlight of Babe Ruth Softball is its annual tournament trail. Tournament teams from each local league are eligible to participate in District competition with winners advancing to the State and Regional levels.

**Registration Fee for 10U Softball is $120

The last day to register & be guaranteed a spot is February 11th.  After that a $50 late fee applies plus there is no guarantee your child will have a spot on a team, they may be wait-listed.  This is because we have to plan for the number of teams, get managers, order uniforms, etc.  However, we will do whatever we can to get all the kids in the league that we can.

There are new Babe Ruth League certification requirements for prospective managers and coaches.  Please complete the manager/coach application on the registration link and visit to learn more about the coaching education requirements.
