Welcome to the Charles County Youth League (CCYL), where the kids always come 1st!!!
CCYL is founded on 4 main pillars: Have Fun, Do Your Best, Team Work, & Sportsmanship! We teach that if you do those 4 things then you had a good day, win or lose! We also teach that priorities (in order) are: Family, School, then Baseball/Softball!
The objective of the CCYL is to instill the values of good sportsmanship, character, community and integrity in our youth. We desire to provide them with an enriching environment where they can reach their goals of sport and exceed their own expectations.
CCYL is a Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball organization. Our emphasis is to assist children in sportsmanship and skills development. It is our desire that each child is given a positive environment to play a competitive sport. It is CCYL's intent to use our website to provide timely, secure information to our CCYL members. The on-line registration allows our members to register at their convenience. It provides the CCYL Board of Directors and League Commissioners the ability to more effectively serve the children of Charles County.

If you've been planning to register for Caitlin Lowe's Slapping Clinic at the
University of Maryland...It's time to sign-up.

If you're planning to attend Caitlin Lowe's slapping clinic at the University of Maryland, March 17 or 18, it's time to register. We're over two months from the clinic dates and already 78% FULL.
Our first Caitlin Lowe Slapping Clinic was three weeks ago, and people are still sending emails about the great experience. She put on a fantastic slapping clinic in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Here's what coaches, parents and players said:
"Any slapper who missed this clinic...blew it."
"Great clinic- Caitlin really knows her stuff..."
"She demonstrated everything and explained it all very thoroughly and got her points through to the girls very well. She also kept it light and entertaining. I attended two sessions, and the time flew by in both of them. The number of players per session seemed just about right,..."
"The time between sessions was also a great idea. It's always a very good thing when your guest takes time to talk with players and coaches, and Caitlin spent every second between sessions doing just that."
"I thought it was great. What an opportunity to interact with Caitlin, someone who has been there that my daughter could relate to, versus a 50 year old dad/coach. Are you planning on doing more in the future? If yes, please keep me on the mailing list. Attached is a pic, look at the smile on my daughter's face. Good stuff!"
"Thanks again for the camp we loved Caitlin she is such a sweetie."
"A lot of my whole 14u team was at the intermediate class and loved it. Here's why:
She was personal, nice and interacted nicely.
There was not a lot of "fluff"-she taught and corrected!
Nice ratio of girls to her...
We would be happy to attend anything you have in the future."
There are dozens more emails to pull quotes. Thank you to everyone who sent them.
It was a great clinic and the excited: coaches, parents and players, have said it better than I could.
If you're a slapper, or slapping coach, don't miss Caitlin Lowe at University of Maryland.
Happy New Year,
David

Or...click on your favorite site directly below!
What separates Nike Softball Camps from all the others? What is the #1 benefit you will get from attending these camps? Nike Softball Camps are about taking it up a notch...it is emotional; it is about striving for perfection in a game decided by inches and hundredths of seconds. Having an “edge” is the difference between being called out or safe, driving a single up the middle, a double off the wall, or a game winning homerun; it is about turning a clutch double play or making a diving catch.
Early Sign Up Offer
This summer, NIKE Softball Camps sponsored by USA Softball and the ASA wants to reach out to you and let you know about a very special offer that we have for any camper who registers before February 20th!
By reserving your spot before February 20th at any of our Nike Softball Camps, you will be automatically entered into our drawing to win one of two amazing softball collectors items! First drawing will be for an Olympic Jersey personally signed by Cat Osterman. The second drawing will be for an 8 x 10 picture signed by the entire 2011 PAM AMERICAN GOLD MEDAL TEAM. The two winners will be announced in June 2012 and mailed their jersey and picture.
Registering is easy; just click on one of the camp locations below and reserve a spot with a $265 deposit ($250 deposit +$15 registration fee).
